Just purchased a 1998 gl1500se. This is my first big bike. I also have a 07 spirit1100 and a 1965 305 honda superhawk. Looking forward to learning the ins and outs of my new to me bike!

Hello Bill and welcome to the GWOF from east Texas. Ah, the ins and outs of the 1500? That would take a very long time to cover so pull up a chair and hang out here and you'll find more information than you probably need.

Its actually a superhawk, the dreams had more body work and a stamped frame. The one in the pic is exactly like mine, colors and all.

I am from springfield, ohio. Just between dayton and colombus. I am about an hour away from where the motorcycles were built in marysville. I actually work for the automotive side of honda in the east liberty auto plant.

Thank you, I just came back in from the garage looking over a few things and still trying to see how everything works. I swore i would not get a wing until i turned 50, but after my wife rode on the back of one, i guess 41 is not too young to own a wing.
