I visited Neihaus' Appreciation Days event and was blown away by the number of Gold Wings. I'm selling my '74 Austin Mini so I can buy a used GW. Planning to tour and need a ride more comfortable for distance riding than my Suzuki GS500E.
Any thoughts/advice on where to find a Gold Wing with fewer than 50,000K on it would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
You'd want either a GL1500 or GL1800.
You can find some good low mile bikes from private sellers, dealers and even here on this forum.

Hi, we are new members here also so welcome! You will love the friendly people here. If you are on Facebook try vehicles for sale in central Illinois. That is where we found ours. We live in Havana hubby from Petersburg, and I grew up in Springpatch. I haven't found a group specifically for Springfield but I have seen a couple of bikes in Taylor ville from that group. There is also another one it's called anything motorcycle non harley. Lots of bikes on there. Good luck hope to pass you riding soon

I am from Capitol City myself, now in So IL, I would like to let you know the GWRRA has a chapter in Springfield and is very active, you may have visited their food stand at Niehaus Days. The GWRRA has a magazine called Wingworld that is fantastic and comes free to all members every month. There is always several wings for sale in the for sale section of the wingworld.
