I have changed belts on 1100 - 1200 many times in the past never had a problem.
I just changed the timing belts on my 96 Aspencade everything went smooth. Buttoned it all up.
Put new coolant in and cleaned K&N filter and new plugs.
Hit the starter it fired as usual sounded loud because a lot of the plastic was still off and in shop.
After running a few minutes to warm up and recheck coolant I wicked the throttle and it popped (backed fired kind of).
Shutoff checked coolant topped off and started again it starts as usual but backfires on small acceleration.
It almost sounds likes it’s missing
I pulled covers off again, everything looks good all marks are right on.
Any suggestions??
Jack
