Hello, I have been riding since 1965 but this is the first Goldwing I have owned. In fact, it is the largest MC I have owned. 1987 GL1200 Interstate. Looking forward to riding the Blue Ridge Parkway which is only 12 miles from my house.

Some of the greatest memories I have with my children (and also some of the scariest!) were riding north on the Blueridge Parkway out of North Carolina, starting around Ashville, NC and returning via the Shenandoah Valley through Galax, VA and dropping into NC (and I do mean "dropping"; forget the drop now, but must be 1,500-2,000 feet.) Great riding ahead of you. Keep the rubber side down!
