Notch and Rockwell Roads to and from Mt. Greylock have been added to the bucket. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

The robins have left from down here and are headed your way. Spring can't be far behind.

I know the 2 there are some nice stopping points along the way. Mt Graylock i do not know... Tramperken if ever you go up from Connecticut try going from westfeild west on the 20 to Huntington then go north on the 112 it uses a little of the 9 but then resumes all the way up to Sherburne probably the best road i have been on around these parts althought i am sure lots have found better. gotta keep searching. We didnt have a single flake of snow yesterday it rained all the salt away. As mild as it's been I don't think were out of the woods yet though.
jaggy,
If you're ever heading to the Route 2 area , give me a call, I can meet you in Greenfield (beginning of the trail) and ride it together........ (I'm not try'n to invite myself/BUT like I mentioned above, most of my best ride'n friend now, are fine folks like yourself, that once we meet / ride, and have a light lunch together, we become good last'n ride'n friends...

We could meet up on the 20 in Westfeild then head along the 20 to Huntington then up the 112 all the way to shelburne then we head west on the 2. Lots of lovely roads. If we can do a weekday then i'll ask TramperKen along too.

That's a great idea (y) Those roads above Westfield, r perfect for motorcycle ride'n....and I don't ride them enough, so it will still be fun for me, to enjoy.... Let's plan on it..........Got to wait till we get a couple of good rainy days to wash all that salt off the roadways.. especially up there in the "hilly" areas where they dump ton's of salt on the roads during the winter months..

Well its been raining on and off all day sometimes quite hard so the good news is it will be mostly gone by the weekend. The badnews is the forcast is showing snow next wednesday. but if we get away with that we might be past the worse now. Theres a gas station 2 miles outside westfeild on the left a Circle K. What say you we meet up there its another few miles to Huntington then were on the twistys. Could be a few weeks yet but yesterday was 62 here and sunny. I took the Miata out instead cause the Goldwing will get salt in places I cannot reach to clean And I just can't bring myself to abuse it.
