Hi Guys
I hope i am posting this in the right window i suck at computers. Bought a Vaquero last April brand new and absolutley hated it. Sold it last july and bought the Goldwing. OMG love this bike. Quiet sophisticated and Blue. Close to Hartford am looking to get back up into Mass and beyon this spring and summer. Intend to do all my own servicing too so the forums should be grat to plough through. Man i hope i posted this in the right place.

Well hello Jaggy1963. I believe I just met you up on Barkhamsted Reservoir last month. I was returning from New Haven after buying my 2023 1800. You pulled in right behind me. I still haven't ridden the bike since that day because of the snow and salt.

Hey Yes that was me!! I meant to get your email or something. I'm retired now so I've plenty of time on my hands. So glad you joined the forum too. If you have a mind to ride with another anytime just let me know if you can find my email on my profile page. Like i said i am terrible with computers. Great to meet you that day and chat. I am jealous of the color of that bike it's absolutley beautiful Stay safe and you should know I havent been able to get out on my bike since that day either. Shouldn't be long now i am avoiding the salt in the road more than the cold.

When the salts gone i'll be on the road again and heading up that way. Always looking for an excuse for coffee so maybe i will see you out and about. Thanks for the reply.

I ride through Sherburn falls quite often (I love ride'n that route 2) Just be careful of that "hairpin" turn...LOL... give me a call if you decide to ride that area, (i'm now retired/so time is on side) I still do side jobs (heat'n ~n~ plumb'n) once in a while (x'cash / spend'n $$)

I have that Route 2 in Massachusetts on my bucket list. Next time I'm up that way I'll be on it for sure. Maybe in 2024 and on up to Newfoundland.

Sherburn Falls, Route 2, hairpins, Don't forget Mt Graylock and all it's 6 hairpins. And here I sit with snow in my yard.

I know the 2 there are some nice stopping points along the way. Mt Graylock i do not know... Tramperken if ever you go up from Connecticut try going from westfeild west on the 20 to Huntington then go north on the 112 it uses a little of the 9 but then resumes all the way up to Sherburne probably the best road i have been on around these parts althought i am sure lots have found better. gotta keep searching. We didnt have a single flake of snow yesterday it rained all the salt away. As mild as it's been I don't think were out of the woods yet though.
