a few years ago i ordered this j&m headset from wingstuff

now i've upgraded to this one

it was not as easy to install as the first one but what an improvement in sound

Buzzard, you really LIKE those (the second one you listed)? I have the same ones, and I thought they sounded tinny and not very good on the quality. I was hoping for something with better sound. Don't get me wrong, the quality of the item is top notch, and the product is well designed and produced, just the sound falls short. The only time I use the headset is when were riding two up, and just for the intercom feature since the speakers sound better. Once we're going over 70 or so, I switch the music over to the helmets.
Just MY opinion, of course.

i guess they sound good to me after having and listining to the less expensive set. the 279 series is a big improvement over what i had, oh if you go on the j&m web site you can purchase some better speakers
