My '89 has the big foam grips with chrome ends. I have small hands, always run thin grips on my dirt bikes because of that. Then add thick cold weather gloves and its really uncomfortable in short order. Any recommendations on "thin" grips?

Order a set of OEM Goldwing grips, they're thin and have enclosed ends for the 1500.

The only problem with most after market grips is the length.
I believe so.

Yep, ones I bought are about 1" too short, take them back today. The stock grips are hard as a rock though aren't they? I know all the stock Honda off road grips are. I'd rather replace them once a year or so and have them be soft so it takes less grip to hold on, stickier I guess is a better description than soft.

The ones on my 1993 are original, I know they have a semi-waffle pattern.
I find them okay, but then I have a pair of gloves with padded palms.

just ordered some new stockers on ebay. Will keep my eyes open now for the ones I really want (whatever those are!).
