Here are my 2 first gen. Goldwings.
I traded up from my a '72 CB500 to my black '79 GL1000 way back in the early '80s and do love the handling and ride of this bike. You'll see it here, parked up on Colorado's Independence Pass during one of my many travels in the Rockies.
In more recent years, I fortunately located a low miles '76 LTD. I have Corbin seats on both now, which does save the old butt over a few hundred miles through our Rockies! And I've kept them both naked, but have added windshield on each for my riding comfort.
I enjoy keeping up with my fellow Goldwing owners, to read about upgrades as well as trials, problems, and questions posted here!

My first Forestry job was in Gould, Colorado. Retirement is looming and I plan a return to the scene of the crime ride. Probably next year.
