YOu will all think I am crazy, and that I have way too much time on my hands, but....... I am the type of guy who loves to make lists, and research everything. Don't think you're retentive at all. I bought my 08 in Nov.09 for $18,000 cash. Maybe it was a good deal.

Actually, BigDaddy, I appreciate your research and posting, since I'm in the same region. Also because I've got an '83 1100 Wing that came with my '85 1200 Aspencade and I'll be looking to sell once we get 'er going. If I can get $2,000 or better I'll have a FREE Wing in very good condition; that's the goal.

Nice research, this list would be better with photos to compare them with. Just saying.

I have been educating myself and pricing in the SE on a daily basis. For this area, without getting into it deep, your findings look pretty similar to what is here. Only differences would depend on mileage usually. I really only am focusing between 89-99ish, but the list seems pretty close here to.

:DI would love to. Not sure if it would be this summer or not, but sometime in my near future. I would really like to move up to the 1800, but we will just have to see what the funds say at that time.

I like that list... If I could get #17k for my 09 that would mean that after owning it for 3 years I lost a total of $900. Now that's a good investment...

Wow, things are holding pretty decent in the good old US of A. My '09 in the blue book shows $20,600 not taking into account for the extras I've put on. I paid $24,675 taxes in. Not bad if you don't look at the MSRP ($32,399) of the '09 up here, but it's 30% depreciation if you look at it that way:eek:

 I sure wish I could find a deal like that!
Keeping this all real; I did have to spend about 2k to put it in top condition. Still less than retail. If you get lucky and find someone who's getting too old to ride or can't ride due to health issues, you can sometimes find a good deal. The gentleman I bought mine from was the original owner and felt that with his age he began questioning his ability to balance the bike. Also, everything is negotiable as I looked at what it would cost to make my bike road worthy and subtracted from his asking price and made my offer. Larry helped mentor me through this purchase which was a great distance from me as had seen this bike on his southwest tour last year. You might find a bike at some distance from you and another member in that area can maybe check it out. If I found a killer deal on a primo bike across the country I wouldn't hesitate to fly to go get it and ride it home. Check the classifieds on all the Goldwing forums as there's several. Have you noticed the 1990 1500 for sale here in the classified for 5900.00? Looks like allot of bike for the money.

Good info to know! Thanks for your research and appreciate your passing it along to others. I may have to sell my 2010 Wing due to medical problems and your info has given me something to think about. I can handle the Wing in FL but the hills of Ga, Nc, Tn gave me/my knees beacoup problems. Less than 18,000 miles on the Yellow Wing, hate to see it go!
