I have a 1985 limited edition GW and bought a new fuel filter. The tabs do not line up. Can they be turned? They appear to be fixed in place.

I don't think you can move the tabs. did you get an OEM filter or aftermarket.

You just answered your own question. Problem is the OEM one is no longer available.

I wouldn't worry about the tabs not lining up. just put one line on using the tab and put the other on where it fits, the tabs are just to help hold the line in place while you tighten the banjo bolt. just be careful when you tighten the loose side not to twist the line
