It's now out and it ain't pretty! I'll try to clean and check, but if anyone has one of these that will work in an '85 1200 Wing, I'm your Huckleberry!

Well, "I'd rather be lucky than smart."

It's hard to see in the photo, but the float arm was covered with dried gas crud (technical term), so I cleaned it and tapped the sensor body a few times with a piece of wood, put it back in and it works fine! Another $200 saved! :)

Nice save.i guess you didn't have to resort to the BFH.

Probably the effects of the ethanol on the component.
Find real gas, save the engine!

Or you can use one of the Ethenol treatments like we have to here in PA.

No real stuff around.

I'm hip, TL. Gonna pick me up some REAL gas tomorrow on my way to visit farmers and our soybean cleaning plant, weather permitting. Yep, my life is fascinating!:eek:
