I have an 09 Wing and the rear part of the front fender is less than 1/8" from the tire. Not enough room to fit the fender extender I bought. Just wondering if anyone else had run into this?

hello and welcome to GWOF emsav8r, i just added a fender extension to my 1200 and it would have been easier to do the job with the fender off the bike

Instuctions are to remove fender for installation but then it wouldn't fit when I try to reinstall it ith the extender on the inside of the fender.

The fender extender goes on the outside of the fender, there is room, and you don't need to remove the fender, just put a piece of plywood between the fender and tire when you drill the holes, and be carefull.Here it is on my 08
