I have a 1983 1100I that im redoing into a naked wing and i was wondering if anyone has ever heard of extended forks for this bike? not sure if thats what i want to do yet but i want to know if its an option. thanks and the bike is looking great so far ill get some pictures up soon.

Never heard of them for a GL. I had 6" overstock on my 1974 CB750. There were longer ones available but it was recommended not to use them because the engine would be put at such an angle it would affect lubrication. You can try a progressive spring in the front forks to maintain the front height.

Never heard of them for a Gold Wing, I had them on my 72 Honda CB 750,

There is a guy out side of Quince, Washington that's been taking the older Wings and reworking them into cruisers, Not quite sure what he does to the forks. His name is Ronald (Ron) Buys.
