As I begin getting familer with my new 2010 wing with navigation I have a question. The switches for the rear shock preload adjustment, the switches along the bottom of the navigation screen (Info, Dim ect) and the controls for the heated seat and hand grips do not have back lighting. Being my first wing should these be back lit? all other switches seem to be.

Bill, you are so right, they should be. I just left a meeting with the Honda people, and there are some new things on the horizon for us as Wingers. I did mention the lighting on certain control switches and it was duly noted. Not saying it will be implemented on the 2012 but it's down on paper now. The reason for the Nav and shock adjusters not being lighted is they don't function when moving (Honda's committment to safety), but they admitted the Trip,Dim and Info buttons were worth consideration. Time will tell.
