Dan, here are a couple pictures of the armrest Modification I talked about.
It's one inch square aluminum tubing 7 inches long. Our local metal supply house cut it to length for me .Then you have get the end plugs at the local hardware store along with longer bolts then drill the matching holes and install.
You wife may not need them, Betty likes them because they took away the shoulder sag. IE. more comfort.

Another handy item are the armrest pouches, handy for the the lady's hair brush/comb, gloves, even snacks for going down the road. Just another thing to add to her enjoyment and comfort on the bike= wanting to ride with you more .

Thanks Ron. You the man when it comes to helping others. I appreciate this tip and appreciate you mucho. May use the empiracle method and install arm rests as stock and see how Deb does with them. Is your wife short or tall Ron?

She is 5' 6"
Have hwr give them a try as is. You can add them later if she thinks she'd like a little more lift there
