What is the cost of a U.S. Quart of AMSOIL synthetic in your area?

Place that services my GW wants about $11 US. Is that about avg?

I'm not asking if AMSOIL is worth buying, just the pricei of a quart in your area, if you know.

Thanks Dan

Those prices are more than fair.

Of course, if you buy it from us and purchase 12 qts (case) it is under 9 per qt. Less than a case will put you right around 10 (plus tax)

Ran Amsoil in my 02 wing very good Oil but Amsoil has priced themselves out of the Motorcycle market with insane prices, $11.00 for a quart is just plan crazy, I refuse to pay that otherS can do what they like, but if everyone took the position that Amsoil is way too expensive and stopped or never statred using it they might get the message. The price today is just PURE PRICE GOUGING.

I agree with what your saying. Honda puts their name on a bottle of oil it must be good enough for them. Im not trying to say....I guess its been run into the ground but why do I need/should spend money on something that is not necessary according to Honda???? I dont mind spending money but its gotta be worth it..
Thanks!

I am sorry you feel that way but, you are obviously paying Retail instead of contacting us.

If you buy a case at a time, it is only $9.02 per qt... even 4 qts at a time is less than the $11.00 per qt which is a very fair price at Retail.

Then, if you use AMSOIL the way it is designed to be, you can go 2x the OEM recommended interval which effectively cuts the cost by 50%.

I had 17,500 on the change in my Wing. I run my Harley over 10 K when other oils are shot at 3 K and I go 8 K on my V-Star.

The smoother shifting, cooler oil temps and oveall performance can't be beat.

fair Price, wrong no where close to being a fair price, I don't mind spending money but not 9-11 bucks a qt for oil, thats insane, I was paying a bit over 6 bucks a qt. from 2002-2006, so since then Amsoil has gotten real greedy!

I don't think making a profit on your product can be called greedy; just good business. The base ingredients used to make the product is going up all the time due to other factors. Have you priced Yamalube lately?? $15 a quart. And they sell tons of it to loyal customers.
But like Bob says, "the best isn't cheap, and the cheap isn't best." True in any circle. Why is Walmart coke less than Coca Cola brand coke? (please no letters, it's just a example).
There are many different oils offered by many companies, and there are just as many customers who swear by their choice of oil; that's why we are America, we have a choice.

I've been through two oil changes using Shell Rotella 6T. I found a local mechanic who is also an Amsoil dealer. I'll give it a run for its money next oil change.

Oh Really

Well if you look at where are current gas prices are headed and think that the prices aren't driven by GREED then I believe you are not looking at it from a realistic perspective. In 2010 when gas prices went insanly high the producers in particular Exon/Mobil were exposed for price gouging, Amasoil is absolutely no different. 5-6 buck a qt is a fair price considering that automotive oils are from 3-5bucks a qt.

Amsoil knows they have a captive audiance in the Motorcycle market and are capitolizing on it, again it's nothing but PURE GREED !

Guess you will really have something to gripe about when the prices go up again May 1st.

Don't blame AMSOIL, it is not the most expensive oil out there by far but, it is The Best.

Things happen... 911, Katrina, another hurricane. 2 out of 3 plants of one of our suppliers that manufacture the base PAO product were very heavily damaged. Mobil 1 was importing PAO and they only use a portion of the PAO we do.

With the rise of oil prices so goes the cost of our additives, shipping costs, distribution and the list goes on. Don't blame the oil companies, they don't control prices. These are traded commodities.

Where some of our competitors have already gone up 9-15%, AMSOIL is going up 3-6%.

I don't look so much at upfront cost, I look at the benefits and cost effectiveness.

My Yamaha gets the oil changed at 8000, the Harley 10,000 and the GoldWing was 16,000 give or take... I had 17,500 on the last one.. LOL ... The Harley is more than once a year like the other 2 because of the miles I put on it and the Severe use it gets.

Extended drains, smoother shifting, fewer false neutrals, easier to find neutral, cooler oil temps better fuel Mileage, more HP and less wear all add up to make AMSOIL a very cost effective product.

Oil, is the LifeBlood of your engine. The Oil Filter, is the Kidney that keeps it clean.

I think you are wrong but, that is my opinion and, aparently a lot of other people as well who make AMSOIL The #1 selling Synthetic M/C oil in the world.

I'm not sure how you can conclude what a FAIR price is when you have no idea on cost to produce is. I don't see you saying anything about M-1 at 9-11 per qt, 10-13 for Royal Purple, 10-13 for Redline, 15-18 for Motul..

I believe in capitalism and if you are retired military and saw active duty, you fought for it. I don't believe in gouging, it is what the Market will bear.

Let's talk about the Mobil situation... They only made 8.25% profit. I would like to see you or anyone here operate a business on such a small margin. I own 2 businesses... I know I can't ! Maybe Obama and his Socialist ways will save us ... NOT !!!

AMSOIL cost less money per mile than the competition, even petroleum oils. My Diesel requires 7500 mile oil changes but with using AMSOIL oil and filters, I will be well above 20,000.

I broke this down just a few days ago.. Based on Rotella and an average filter, a 7500 change would be about $68.00.... Using AMSOIL's HDD 5W-30 Diesel oil, AMSOIL filter, it will run me 36.00 per 7500 miles.. Not to mention a noticeable improvement in fuel mileage and making a $12,000 engine last longer.

COST EFFECTIVE
