I have a '96 Goldwing SE

I was using reverse to back into an uphill parking space. I took the bike out of reverse, killed it and when I came back and turned on the bike the reverse light and neutral lights didn't lite up. I tried to start it and nothing. I checked the reverse fuses and they are fine. Any ideas?

The rest of the light light up when I turn on the key and the kickstand light switches when I raise and lower the kickstand. I can put the bike in neutral and the light doesn't light.

You might have a dirty switch on the cable assembly.

The cables from the reverse lever run to the right side of the bike under the front cover. There are switches that the assembly contacts when the lever is moved. Make sure they are making contact and clean.
