Hello all,
I just acquired a 1980 GL 1100 project. The main attraction was a MASSIVE sidecar attached. The down side is it hasn't run since 1997 since it blew a head gasket, so I have had the engine out twice, the carbs off about 10 times etc etc. I eventually gave up on the carbs and fitted a single VW type carb and it now sounds great. Latest issue is the starter clutch so it's engine out again!
Maybe I'll get to ride it one day, it's been over a year so far. It's my own fault though, with 2 other projects ongoing (one is a 1980 Ducati Pantah).
