Sorry, I posted in a poor section of forum before; sorry for double-posting.
I 've got carb kits for my 81 GL100 but I can't figure out how to get a cleaning tool into two Z-shaped ports from the float bowl up into the throat. I 've got a tip-cleaning tool that appears small enough, but it will be too stiff. I can't get it started in the hole anyway, from either end. There's about a 1/8" plug at the change in direction, driven in, clearly not intended to be removed. If I put it all back together w/o doing something about that, and it doesn't run right, I'll be suicidal. At least I'll be breaking things that I'll regret. Ideas?

hi donald, thats why they make carb cleaner in an aerosol spray. spray it good an use compressed air to make sure the passage is as clean as it can be. also pipe cleaners work good on a lot of passageways. if you can observe carb cleaner spray coming through the paSSAGE IT IS OPEN.
