I am working on the front brake rotors on a 79 gl1000 and I want to replace the caliper bolts. I ordered them from cheap cycle parts.com, but they back ordered them on me. Does anyone know an alternative source or maybe a generic replacement?

Thanks.

Hondapartsnation has always been good to me. They say they discount oem but not very fast.

so far, I have found them to be priced much better than dealership and pretty fast-usually getting here in just a few days.

Never did brakes on a 79 but if it's a standard metric bolt then you could get them most anywhere if you know the size, pitch and length.
Socket head cap screw (SHCS)if you use an allen wrench or
Hex head if you use a socket head

MSCdirect.com online has it all and delivers fast
Around here it's Automotive fasteners or Fastenal at the parts counter.

Just be careful not to get the wrong pitch thread.

bikebandit.com. They offer 10% discount with your AMA number and have bonus bucks for the next purchase. I used to order from Cheapcycleparts.com but, now with the AMA discount, bikebandit.com works for me. They might have some bolts but, most likely they would have to order as well.
