I have snapped off many of these damn things over the years. But I have never installed one of these kits. Normally if I am in a hurry and I wasn't planning on rebuilding it I would remove the caliper put a piece of wood in place of the rotor with the brake line attached I would rotate the caliper to make the brake line connection the highest part then bleed the caliper with the brake line bolt. If your going to rebuild the caliper anyways it looks like you found a good product as long as there is enough metal where the bleed screw is.

i had to replace the bleeder screws on my wing because the one of the heads rounded off. i ordered a set of speed bleeders, found them on ebay. i heated the old bleeder screws to get them out without breaking then installed the new bleeder screws and flushed the brake system
