need opinion is it best to cover your bike on 2 or 3 week trips?

i like my half cover from wingstuff. I hook the 2 elastic straps to the pegs. It doesn't take up alot of space either.

First, welcome to the forum. I use a Tour King which rolls up into a small pouch. It a half cover made of nylon and works great. Have used one for years. Water shakes off and takes up almost no room in the Wing..

UltraGard XL full cover. Also rolls up into a small pouch.
However, one should clean the bike(at least get the road dirt/dust off with a spray cleaner/polish prior to installing a cover.)
dust/dirt+cover+wind=moving cover=sandpaper=fine scratches
Make sure the one you buy (full or 1/2) is lined for the windshield.
Also suggest cutting 2 tennis balls and placing them over the folded "hinges" of the antenna prior to installing the cover. Will likely keep you from ripping a hole in you cover.

I use an Ultragard half-cover. Keeps the bike dry, the bird crap off, and doesn't take up much room.

I also use the 1/2 cover on trips. Takes up less space and still does the job. Thanks officer for the tennis ball tip, I'll find a couple. Maybe it will keep me from ripping my cover more.

1/2 cover works fine, a full cover is a nusiance to put on every day.
