I searched the forums but couldn't find an answer to this.

Let me start by saying that I have other threads inquiring along these lines but thought it best to start another thread so as to not muddy up the waters.

I have found this product, the "PASSENGER AUDIO CONTROLLER", from Big Bike parts and I am wondering is this a "push to talk" for the intercom... as well as the CB? is it the answer to cutting wind noise that I hear talked about?

Thanks for helping me sort this thing out!

That is in fact only push to talk for the CB. I had that one for my 1500 & changed to J&M's version. The J&M has a switch underneath that you can shut the passenger mic off completely thus helping with the wind noise. Here's a link. Plus the quality is far superior than the Showchrome one.

Another way you can go is with a product called "Mic Mutes". Here is a link for that as well. Good Luck in the search.

The intercom is voice activated, If you do not have a CB you don't need one. You can adjust the volume and the mute setting on the intercom bu the controls on the radio.
