I just bought some Nordic Gear battery powered gloves. Anybody have any experience with them? I put a D cell battery in each and can feel a little heat on the back of the hand but no heat for the fingers. My fingers are what gets frozen on the cold rides.

Ask an ATV dealer for "Hippo Hands" or handlebar muffs. I got 'em on all my bikes. They're like mittens for the handgrips. Keep the air/snow off your gloved hands and make a big difference. I also use Mossy Oak gloves with 150-oz Thinsulate- ain't cheap, but work good. Got a pouch on the back for Heat Factory hand/foot warmer packs. They don't help much, being on the back of your hand. Work great in the toes of my insulated boots, though.
