Just got back from a hook-up with GORDO in Baltimore. Gordon is the proprietor of The " Canton Market " a block from the Baltimore Harbor. I like Baltimore, it is a working city. As Gordon and his son were running the store today I met them there and took advantage of the weather to put some goodies on the Wings. There were power outlets to install and mirror wings. I had originally thought GORDO had a spoiler to install but it turned out to be a Hondaline luggage rack, which according to my caveat some time ago, might not accommodate a spoiler should he get one. So we contented ourselves with the first two items. I slipped him a pair of foam overlays for the grips that he might find as comforting as I do. The ride to Baltimore is 99.999% super highway so the destination was the journey, although it was the first time this Wing had been through a tunnel. GORDO is 10 years my junior, as you can tell from our picture together, but we both share a love for riding, both spent time in the service; and it's nice to hang with the younger crowd. We also share a condition known as a deviated septum and some of the collateral conditions that accompany it. Misery loves company. I left with more than I brought with me. I promised GORDO I would not crack the seal on it until Christmas. But all bets are off when it comes to single malt 12 year scotch.
