I recently purchased a 2001 Goldwing with 50,000 miles. I now have 51,600 miles and just within the last 300miles it has developed a buzz in the intercom sytem. Driver & passenger can both hear it. It goes away when you engage the clutch or it's in idle. It sounds like ignition noise, but not sure why disengaging the transmission makes it go away. I would appreciate any input

Engaging the clutch drops the RPM's so one should expect the ignition noise to decrease. There are filters available for the headsets. That's all I know at the moment. My headsets are wireless.

A bit of work to do! You need a winter project! Get a manual. Locate, clean and then tighten the various grounds on you bike.

Before installing the noise supressor, I had excessive noise inthe headsets and speakers. Horrid when on high beam at night. This was only while using the XM/Inno on the aux audio circuit. Noise supressor cleared it up.
