It depends if it was just cosmetic damage or a rebuilt wreck?
An honest answer may be hard to get out of the seller.
If possible take it to a Goldwing Specialist at the Honda dealer and have them check it out before you buy. I'm not a fan of anything with a 'Rebuilt Title', even if the price is reasonable.

No offense, you asked for opinions.
I watched a friend wreck his bike, didn't look too bad (lost it in a turn and went off the road). He drove it home. Bent brake pedal and forks a little bent.

Fast forward, it was a total loss. Lots of little problems not first noticed. He eventually got it all fixed and it's ok but he knew the history.

By ignorance or oversight, there may well be other issues. Insurance companies don't look for problems, they repair what is obvious. Those who repair to resell are the same. There may be exceptions but the risk is high.

first, call your insurance agent-many won't insure a salvaged titled or rebuilt bike
(that should tell you something)

second, have it thoroughly checked by a pro. Try to find if there are any expensive unresolved issues.

If the fram is bent, tires will wear very fast eating up your savings.

lastly, if at all possible, spend a little extra or look a little longer and find one that has been babied and has an owner who can give you it's history.

I don't see the savings outweighing the risk.

All that said because we can't see it. You can. From that, you can decide if it was minor or major and if you think it's worth it.

Daaaa, rebuilt title! Did not even dawn on me. That's why I asked. Not the kind of trouble I am looking for.

Had a buddy go off the road on a "rebuilt" Roadking. Turned out the swingarm was bent and improperly fixed. He survived with minor scrapes and stuff and the bike is fine now, but he could have just as easily been crippled or worse. Be careful.
