I have an 87 Aspencade. I have aftermarket foglights attached. My foglights went out. Looked under gas tank cover and noticed fuse was blown. Looks like fuse goes to a device called The Antenna Specialist A6??? I also now notice my radio is staticky(...is that even a word?) What sux is that I laid the fuse down somewhere and don't remember what size it was...I also cannot find anything on the antenna box. I have some basic mechanical knowledge, but electrical is not my specialty:) I have replaced the fuse with several different sizes, but all yeilded the same result....nothing. Any ideas here?

Kaoskid...becareful about putting any size fuse in there to see what happens....as you increase the fuse size you run the risk of damaging the end component and or worst degrading the insulation on the wiring...which will lead to rewiring the bike....

Give your dealer a call, find out what the typical fuse size is for fog lights for your model year...then before replacing the fuse...pull the bulbs out of your fog lights or disconnect the lights...if the fuse does not blow then you have a problem with the lamp holders themselves...if it does blow...you most likly have a pinched wire (bare wire) some where...all you can do in that case is start tracing the wires..

Hope this helps...

Safe Ride...

Appreciate the reply. Problem is they are aftermarket lights. Funny thing is I cannot understand what the fuse holder comes out of the antenna "box" for the fog lights??? I may need to retrace, but I know when I connect an ohm meter I get a sound when connecting one end to the fuse holder and the other to one of the contacts on the foglight...mmmmm....
