Hello all,

New Golding owner and new to the forum. I could use some tips from you long legged riders. We went out yesterday for a 500 mile
ride - love the bike but a couple of issues that need addressing.
At 6'5" the seating position after a few hours was very uncomfortable and honestly the butt burn was the worst I have ever encounted. My wife says there is alot of air coming up from
underneath the bike and under her helmet. Any tips would be
greatly appreciated.

Great Forum by the way

Thanks

Long Legs

I am 6' and experience tightness in my thighs using the standard foot pegs. I am also 66 and get tight leg muscles when in a car. So I stop every 45 minutes or so to walk around.

They do make auxiliary foot pegs that attach to the engine guards. The ones I have seen are adjustable. You can stretch your legs while riding. Of course you can't hit the rear brake as fast.

I have never experienced "But Burn" so I can't comment on that.

The use of freeway pegs or boards are great as long as you use them at the right time ...and a low cost anti butt burn cure is the seat cover that is made up out of beads... or a gel pad..... Thinking of saving up to get a road sofa-any pros or con opinions?
