Been working on my wing for 8 of the 9 weeks I have owned it. I have a couple of electrical issues to resolve but it is back together.

I took 41 pieces to the painter and I stopped counting the pieces I took off at 127. (guessing 140 or better).

I don't have a headlight or front turnsignals so I got a few things yet to do. At least it is no longer in the living room, bedroom, garage and next county at the paint shop.

UPS is bringing me the gold goldwing logo and emblem for side covers tomorrow and 2 threaded clips to bolt the trunk bottom on.

Anyone in piedmont, NC know a good wing specialist. I may need one if I don't find this pretty quickly. I am ready to get back on and ride

Nice job! You could always go with some freehand artistry on the logo if you want a personal touch, although it does detract from a full retore job.

Budoka,

I appreciate it. I debadged most of the bike but thought I would leave the side covers alone. But of course, the old logo and emblem looked bad so what's another $85 bucks (ugh).

I have kept is simple in part because I am broke!!! I am also planning a trip to Wings over the Smokies and thought I would save a few bucks and see what I might find there.

I would like to add a little more and do a little more to it but I am done for now, I just want to enjoy the fall here. There is about 2 good months then about 4 months to tweak and mod.

I am open minded tho' and I have read enough of your posts to appreciate your viewpoints. If you see something you like, send it on, it would like to look at it.
