Welcome poreilly. you didn't mention what type you are trying to hook up,so i'll be what help i can. If they are upgrade type horns similar to the stock units, then you will have one or two terminals.I am unfamiliar with the '82 Wing,do the stock horns have one or two wires going to them? If one, then the horns must ground to the frame. If two, then one is the hot from the horn switch, the other is ground. If you are putting on airhorns, which i am in the middle of doing, then your horn switch wire will be the trigger for the relay. The airhorn kit i got has a descent diagram with it. Hope this is of help,if you need more, please tell us what you've got and should be no problem.

Air horns are a good up grade to the hornes on your bike---- but the easiest way to up grade to a great set of hornes is to buy a set of 1800's they are very loud and will bolt right onto the bike, You plug them into the existing wiring and you dont have anything sticking out that looks like a big add on!
