I just googled it and the GL1800s run over $1,000. I click on the GL1500s and can't get anything. Regardless it seems to be a very expensive seat. Especially since it was made for a driver back rest.

I wish you were closer or maybe I was. I would like to look at it and actually sit on it and see how it fits me. Also a Utopia back rest may fit into the slot and work. Not to many good back rest mfgs out there so that just might be what it used originally. So far my stock seat works, but I never know.

I've got the stock seat on now and to me it feels much better. The custom one was okay as long as I had my feet up on the pegs. I pulled the tag from the back (Like you suggested ) and called the company that makes them. they quoted me a price for the one like mine with the drivers back at $1,294. Someone will be getting a very good deal. This seat is pristine....
