I would put some seafoam in the gas tank and run it a few hundred miles....Make sure you have a new fuel filter to change out after running the seafoam through as you may disslodge stuff that clogs up the fuel filter.
I buy Seafoam by the gallon at Autozone. You save 40% over the retail costs by the pint. A gallon lasts a long time. When I am at home, I run Seafoam every 2nd or 3rd tank in the summer and every tank in the winter.
When traveling, I don't bother as I am running tank after tank and the bike does not sit but when I get home, I add some to the tank. My bike is running like a top and gets over 40 mpg. It just turned over 40,000 miles.
