What I would like to know is could you paint over the patch work and make it look like new? I have done repairs on two of my lower fairings were I molded two metal strips right into the ABS covers.
I made a slurry with filings from some old black pipe (ABS ) and used
Master Plumber ABS Black Cement.Being ABS cement, it melts the orginal ABS into one piece again. How ever the parts (metal ) are molded on the inside not showing,I didn't have to paint.it looks like what you used was Bondo ?
