Hi all, I just bought a 83 GW Interstate, took it on a 75 mile ride today with no problems.
Oh ya i forgot to turn the gas petcock to on the bike started to sputter I thought I bought a dog but it was just a rookie mistake.
I havent ridden in 20 years but had a blast today!

hello and welcome to goldwing owners forum. congrats on the purchas of your new wing. see if you can find out when the timing belts were changed of not have it done. a broken belt will destroy the engine

det b, excellent suggestion is there more than 1 belt is this something i can do very mech. inclined. where is best place to buy belts?

there are two belts and it is something you can do yourself. napa part #250274, gates #t274 or goodyear #40274. check your local auto parts store
