thanks guys and gals,i fix the 4 ways took the switch out and clean it work fine now.i have an 05 gl 1800 trike how do you check the transmisson level i can find the rad,and the oil, but not the transmission.love the honda best trike i had and i had HD,boss hoss,boss hoss is great but 18 mpg not good,

The engine oil also serves as the transmission lube. There is no separate fluid.

It's all self-contained. The engine oil handles the engine, trans and clutch.

thanks the book did not tell me that
the book would not tell you that. the engine is what they call a unit construction meaning the engine and trans are made together. if you look at ads for old triumps you'll see some that say pre-unit. thats when the engine and trans were seperate

When you pick the oil you use make sure it does not FRICTION REDUCING, that will cause the clutch to slip.
