I purchased a 2018 tour DCT last April. love it. last
Nov. dealer did the first available update. Doing that it deleted the ability to pair the passenger headset. Rider worked. They were not able to fix the problem. Told me to wait till spring for next update. I purchased a blue hub 1833 and went corded until they got it fixed. The problem now is that I cant use the cb when two helmets are hooked up. Only get a back feed. I can hear perfectly and can talk when one helmet is conected only. The dealer has tried to fix my Bluetooth problem but cant figure it out. Has any one had a similar problem and how did you get it resolved ? They have installed the new update three times this summer. I have been dealing with for over a year. I want to get back to cordless headsets . I can not turn the passenger headset on the bike. Any help or advise will be appreciated.

I have the J&M BT-04 units some times it takes a couple of tries to link to the system, J&M says that is just the way blue tooth works.

I think your dealer can restore you blue tooth to what you had when you bought the bike, you should not have to wait for the next update, I know I would not put up with that. Have you tried purging the memory and start from scratch? This is my first wireless so my knowledge is limited

sounds like youre getting the run around. the update has nothing to do with you not being able to pair your passenger headset. which headset system are you using? make sure your rider headset is turned off when pairing the passenger headset. is the bike searching while in pair mode?

Thank you for both replies. I'll stop by dealers tomorrow and make sure rider is turned off and try that. I have tried bt03 and hated hem . Got bt04 and didn't work much better. ad to pair manually every time. Then got sena 20s evo. Love them . have intercom and paired every time. rider still does but after the update last year my problem started. ride two up most of the time. Bought j7m blu hub 1833 and went corded until I can get this fixed. I'll post my progress with this problem for others . Thanks for your time and help.

After several calls to Honda head quarters in Cal. I got my problem solved. The dealer they sent me to changed the main computer but nothing changed. Switched it back and then changed the audio box and problem solved. Too bad it took a year to get to talk to some one at corporate that was concerned about the product they sold. Now the volume from radio and cb are much better. Had to have cb volume at 20 max. Now 12 or 13 is plenty. Just wanted to update and possible help others. Thanks for the advice I got.
