Is there anyway to disconnect or unplug something On the stock Garmin GPS on the 2010 Goldwing----I want to be able to navigate while traveling and it will not allow it....You have to be in neutral and can not be moving---I WANT TO DISABLE THIS FEATURE SOMEHOW---Surely somebody else has figured this out by now....

Nudels2u75, welcome to the forum from Pennsylvania. Your complaint about the GPS unit is not uncommon. Looks like Joe's wiring diagram might do the trick. Since I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, I'd probably just go out and buy a referb GPS from eBay and a Ram Mount and forget about the one that came with the bike. But that me, taking the easy (not necessarily the cheapest) way out.. Good luck. Let us know how it works...

Welcome from Alberta Nudels2u75. I'd leave well enough alone with the Navi, if you ever decide to sell the bike (gasp) the prospective buyer will likely want the GPS functioning as intended, I know I would. Too much chance of a hatchet job in my book.
