I was looking up the specs for this Wing and had some confusion. Hopefully someone here can help.

Okay guys, I am not real new to the site just new to actually getting involved and posting so please be patient.

I was looking at the curb weight and the GVWR of my Wing and saw something that caught my eye. The curb weigh is about 920lbs and the GVWR is 1180lbs. Now, this would mean the you would only be able to have a rider, passenger and payload weight of 260lbs. That means with no payload the rider and passenger could have a max weight of 130lbs each. HUH? That's two children, or midgets, the way I see it. Heck, I don't know any 130 pound people that could hold this bike up let alone touch the ground.

Am I missing something here?

Why is the listed GVWR so low in comparison to the crub weight?

Does anyone have any idea what the max GVWR is or should be in real life?

Thanks,

Mike

I think most of that is all "legalize" to cover themselves. If you want to be more confused, take a look at the tire load ratings...

Chopin, I think it's time for the "duck and cover" routine.
