I have a 2007 Goldwing 1800 with factory navi. I tried to download a current update to the Navi systm and when replacing the chip bent a male connector between the chip and the unit in the trunk. I straightened out the connector and installed the 2007 original chip but now the radio and navi system work but I cannot access the larger navi screen that shows me local roads. Does anyone know a fix?? Do I have to get a new chip from Garmin and if so, will the system work properly or do I have to replace the entire trunk part and get an updated chip?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
