Hello. I am repainting two of the four heat shields on my 1993 Black GL1500 Aspencade. The current color of the heat shield is a silver color. I'm guessing that there were only a few different colors the heat shield came in. Does anybody know what color I could get in a spray bomb from Napa, Carquest, Orielly's, etc. that would match up pretty good with the current color. Does it have to be a high temp paint?
Thanks.

Yes, you'd want to use a high temp paint on them.
Have you thought about powder coating them in a close match?

A good powder coating shop will have a large amount of colors available and can give you a good match.
