I currently own a 1982 Goldwing, I am looking for a radio to replace the original Clarion it came with. Has anyone had any luck finding one small enough to fit the fairing.

He is looking for the factory radio. The times I have rode it the radio has a mind of its own. It will be working fine then stop and not work for a couple of days then back to fine. He has taken the fairing apart and tested all the wires and has come to the conclusion it has to be the actual radio. He doesnt have any faith and says if he cant find one they are not there. I told him he hasnt talked to the people I talk to and I know that it can be done/found. :D

Thanks for any help!

Does his interstate have an intercom on it? If so check the mute setting on it. If the MUTE setting is to high the slightest wind noise will mute the radio. If not then Sierra Electronics is his answer
