The stator went out on my 1984 1200 at 30,000 miles last year in Sept. I replaced the stator with an American made one. It worked great, putting out 20 percent more than the original. For about fifty miles. Now I get no charge to the battery at all. I haven't probed the yellow wires yet to check stator, for they are all shrink wrapped up nice and neat. My question, could it be the voltage regulator and how do I test it. Thanks
