10-4. My powerlet gear has leads that go directly to the battery and have the plug in for the heated gear on the other end. I just leave mine tucked up under the seat.

I don't have mine permanently mounted. I just use the leads that came with my powerlet gear. When not in use, it just tucks up under the seat.

I have found 41 psi to be the best for me on my Michelin. I would say start at 38 and go from there. Its going to depend on your riding style too.
