Hello y'all. Finally have time to intro myself. The name is NoMaD, I've been riding big miles since I was 14 (honda express for an 800 mile trip, over 10,000 miles its first summer) 25 years later my garage has bikes from a 33cc streemer, a gagle of mopeds, a MB5, urban express, 81 passport, a plain helix, a streemer helix, a helix based reverse trike project, 600xj, a r6, a very tweaked buell S1 white lightning, a buell dragster project. Then this year for my birthday rather than folks buying the bartender (me) shots that I didn't want I asked folks to add an anonymous amount to a jar I had going that was to be my down payment on a fxr bagger. I went to get the bike but didn't have a good vibe.. So instead chose to get another wing. I had previously had a gl1000. So into the fold came Blanka my 1997 aspencade police edition.
Unlike most wings that spend their days rolling on cruise control from interstate gas station till the next, Blanka was riden as hard as a sport bike, jumping curbs and chasing cars under the only guy for miles w permission to ride around at 100+ mph. After her retirement from the Birmingham AL police dpt. Blanka was acquired by an anonymous FBI consultant, who only added 40 miles in a year - no way to treat any bike! So having checked off a GoldWing from his bucket lust list mr c. Sold her to me. She hasn't missed a day riding since. (I should note I ride year round, EVERY DAY including snow and rain) I will care for her but she will be no spit polish queen! She still gets rode hard and she seems to happily oblige.
So that has us where we are now.
