Welcome, Leigh. Shadows are nice bikes; had one for a while but had to move it along to make room for the wife's Virago.

And yes, do please get your IDMWT number and tell your story; guaranteed we won't make fun of you but ruefully sympathize, instead. There are a lot of us in that club, alas!

Enjoying the Ride!!

54 and been riding for 3 seasons now.
Started out on a 2003 Volusia.....beauty starter bike
Moved up to a 2005 Nomad 1600 and liked it. Did some nice upgrades to it like a Harley fairing, stereo, deflectors etc. A moderator on Facebook seen it and bought it for a price I couldn't refuse!
Picked up a 2010 Voyager which I figured would be my last bike for a while...then I rode my buddies Wing.
Well at first I found it a little cramped (I'm 6' 2") and thought I couldn't do the knees under me for very long as I liked the stretched out feel of the Voyager.
I did more research on the wing and then I rode my buddy's Wing again for a couple of hours and thought..this could work.

Found one and was able to get a grand more for the Voyager than what I paid, so I took the plunge and traded it on a 2008 GL1800 with nav

Well I haven't looked back...since mid August we have done about 7000 kms and been loving every minute of it.

Proud to be a part of this great group!!
