Young wing rider.

Welcome to the GWOFamily. Meet and Greets occur regularly and randomly. Keep your eyes peeled. There are about 40 of us gathering in Marietta OH this weekend. Not sure exactly where in WI you are but there are several Wingers in Michigan and Minnesota. Just get involved in the forum and you'll find more.

Sometimes it's just 1-2 getting together for breakfast. Sometimes it's a 1,000 mile weekend run yo sit around and shoot the breeze.

Ken, an M&G can be any time, any where, and for any number of days. You can host one. Lead us on your favorite roads, to your favorite places to eat. But you might want to hide the wife and kids.

Ride often. Ride far. Ride safe and do much more of both.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach him how to surf the GWOF and he won't bother you for weeks, maybe months
I'll be waitin' for you at the end of the road.
If everything had gone as planned, it would not have been an adventure.

Just never can tell where a M&G will pop up next, I've been to Oklahoma for one this year already and Ohio in a couple days. They are always a blast!

Good morning kendo, and welcome to the forum. I also purchased a 1500 for my first wing, but I wasn't as smart as you, since I was in my 50's when I got mine. It took many of the wing riders on this forum years to learn the goldwing is the best bike to own for comfort, durability, and all around satisfaction, so you're ahead of the curve. I'm actually a neighbor just 40 miles down 29 in Green Bay. Lots of great riding around here, with so many back roads, too. Congratulations on your new bike, now all we need is a way to extend the riding season in Wisconsin.

Amen to that!!!! And I've been on a few "get lost" rides with my dad in the Green Bay Area. Lots of nice back roads with good scenery. And I have extended my riding season. I stay warmer now lol

You should move to bama lol our riding season starts as early as the end of march and really(if your not a pansy )runs as late as christmas most yrs. That keeps you riding in the 60's during the day and high 30's at night .
