Just adding the amp is not going to get you better sound, even with the sub. The OEM speakers are not designed for more power.
You already have an external amplifier on your bike. It's located behind the rear wheel.

I'd put money into better speakers first. Polk Audio are some of the better ones.

In 2006, Honda did add an Amp to the sound system that is located in the rear wheel well. It's pretty intense. My wife can hear it in the house when I pull into the driveway. Is your mute button on ? LOL !!!!

Same here. No loud pipes but killer audio. I believe it's 80 watts per channel. OEM speakers are just adequate. I've never even thought about upgrading the speakers. They do just fine.
Plus, if another amp is added, any distortion from the audio system will also be amplified and may make it worse.
I personally do not understand why people want louder music than it comes with.
Clearer sound can be accomplished by better speakers.
When i had my 2004, I installed J&M speakers. They made a big difference.

Wow I'm glad I seen these post because now I know . Well some of us just love louder clarity with better speaker quality but I guess I'll just order my speakers then. Crutchfield has perfect equipment for our wings.

Just make sure you get the Marine speakers. Remember, your rear speakers are smaller than the front.
