Installed handlebar riser kit

I finally got around to installing the Kuryakyn Goldwing Handlebar riser kit. I had some feedback from others on the forum that are about my height that the larger shin was the way to go.

Pleasant surprised that the instructions were very thorough and only had to break out my maintenance manual one time to see how the electrical connections came apart. They were tough to get disconnected with my fingers but eventually got them off.

Cover came off easy and plenty of room to pull off handlebars and put in shims.

Went back together easy. Tested all connections and she seems to be back to original.

Sitting on the seat I can feel the difference. Able to sit back on the back rest and arms aren’t stretched out. Can’t wait to give them a try.

Back into the garage and under cover after a good cleaning.

Now just warm up!!!

I put them on my bike too. What a big difference in comfort. I got the risers/shims by show chrome from Wingstuff. Raised the bars up 1.5 in., But did not bring them back any. Perfect position for me.

I live in Fredericksburg and my daughter lives in Stafford. As I am up there all the time we should meet and let you sit and drive mine. I have the Helibars. But I wanted a second opinion about my front forks from another wing rider.
